It might not come as a surprise to the employees working in Ellsworth, but Barry Buchanon brought home the mileage win with a total of 19,589 miles this past summer on his Suzuki V-Strom! Al Glossian won himself a brandnew set of tires mounted and balanced for his Yamaha FJR...With a total of 11,107 miles traveled this past summer, he beat out some tough competition! And the sun finally came out!! We had a great turn out on Thursday night for bike night at the store, the weather cooperated and the temperature was perfect. Almost 200 bikes or so. Jordan's Snack bar made sure everyone went home stuffed! Friday and Saturday were great, the tent sale was a success with customers finding unbelievable blow out specials! Sausages from W.A. Bean & Sons cooked up by Elaine and Meredith were a huge draw! Thanks again to everyone for making it a huge success! We'll be doing another one in August, so stay tuned to the calendar!

We lucked out with the weather for the first Ellsworth Bike Night of 2008. We had some rain throughout the day, but the sun eventually came out, giving us a great evening.

We want to send a special thanks to Geraldin Jackson, not only was she fully prepared for the cookoff with all the fixin's, she was also the winner! She took home a $135 gift card. Congrats Geraldine, and thank you for making sure we all went home extremely stuffed. Thank you again to all the contestants! We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Orono was able to offer free Yamaha snowmobile demo rides up on Pushaw lake during the radar runs... it was a great day with an excellent turn out.. thanks again!

It was a great weekend of ice fishing for the 2nd Annual G&M Variety Store Ice Fishing derby... there was tons of food and tons of give-aways! Check out that fish!!
